Buy Names on the New Planet
Name a geographic feature of the new planet. As settlers of a new world the colonizers will be naming geographic features. You can pay for a name you want something named after on our list. For example the longest river on the new planet will be named the name with the highest paid price, the second longest after the second name on the list. You can add money to your price listing to move it higher up on the list at any time until the naming has happened.
Notes:
- Bodies of water are oceans, seas, lakes. They do not include rivers; rivers have their own category.
- Landmasses mean continents, subcontinents, peninsulas, islands
- Names will be assigned based on the base you specify combined with the nature of the feature. For example if you pay for bodies of water and enter the name ''Bob'' and you come out on top the largest ocean on the new planet will be named ''Bob's Ocean''. If you end up number 10 and the planet has 4 oceans you will get the 6th largest sea named after you. If we run out of seas you will get a lake.
- If two names have the same price paid the one that was entered to the list first is given the higher spot.
- If you have bought a name of a feature that turns out not to be present on the new planet your listing will be transferred to a similar category and receive a doubled value. For example if you have bought a swamp for $100
and there are no swamps on the new planet
you will be given a river worth $200.
- Paid prices are rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Name streets, squares, cities. As civilization is built on the new planet cities, streets, and squares will be named in sequence as they are planned based on a list of names. You can select a price for the name you want something named after on our list in the same way as the geographic features. For example the first city on the new planet will be named the name with the highest paid price, the second after the second name on the list. You can add money to your listing to move it higher up on the list at any time until the naming has happened.
